I’m happy to announce that the next Self Care by the Sea retreat scheduled for October 26th – 28th is now open for registration. I’ve recorded a short video that tells the story of what happens during these weekends. It’s a pretty magical few days and I invite you to watch the video here.
We all need a time out now and then and that’s what these retreats are meant to provide.
As I wrote in last week’s newsletter, being sick was a reminder about the importance of turning life off. Being forced to do nothing but rest and regroup allowed me to be more thoughtful about my life. But, rather than getting sick, I like to step out of my daily routine intentionally so I can gain a fresh perspective on my priorities, needs, and desires.
And I’m about to do just that.
Michael and I are on our way to Ireland for a long awaited trip to my ancestral land. This is a vacation I’ve wanted to take for a long, long time and I’m excited to tour the countryside and meet new friends. My dad was a proud Irishman and before he died, Michael and I gave him a genealogy book for his 80th birthday that mapped his heritage. With detailed records in hand, I plan to explore my roots.
If you feel ready for a time out and a fresh perspective on your life, I hope you’ll join me in October. You can register here.
Stay tuned for stories from my adventure!
