Week 14 – Divine Signs: Building faith one miracle at a time
Greetings!
This week marks the launch of a beautiful book, a spiritual memoir of sorts, called Reveal: A Sacred Manual for Getting Spiritually Naked. This book follows the journey of Meggan Watterson as she searches for the sacred voices of women. It’s an honest, heartfelt story of spiritual renewal and the healing power of the Divine Feminine. Reveal is a perfect book for this time of year and I wanted to share it with you – I loved it! You can read more about Meggan and her book here (be sure to watch the video on her homepage, too).
I’m live on the radio this week (4/1 at 5pm ET/2pm PT) and you can listen by visiting HayHouseRadio.com. You can also call for coaching at (866) 254-1579. I’d love for you to join me.
Have a wonderful week!
Love,
Cheryl

Topic of the Week Divine SignsThis week’s newsletter tells a story I’ve shared before with you here and with audiences during my travels. It’s a beautiful reminder of the miracles that show up in life when we need them most. I hope it inspires a belief in, and gratitude for, the Divine support we all receive, especially during times of rebirth and new beginnings. * * * There have been many times in my life when I’ve felt lonely and afraid and a miracle has occurred to remind me that a Divine Presence is protecting and directing my life. Sometimes these messages are like whispers – a smile from a stranger during a difficult moment or an unexpected phone call at the exact instant I needed support. Other times, the messages have been like a giant hammer hitting me over the head with a clear sign that I’m not alone. This week I thought I’d share a miracle story with you. Several years ago my friend Max and I were walking on my favorite beach. I had just ended a five-year relationship and felt conflicted about my decision. Deep in my heart I knew it was the right choice, yet I kept feeling pulled to call my former partner to give it one more try. Max, being the good friend she is, encouraged me to stay true to my heart and keep focused on my own self-care and this new, emerging chapter of my life.
Like so many of us who go through a life transition, I felt pulled in two different directions. My head said call him and my heart said hold still and stay strong. I felt stuck in an emotional battle between two feuding factions. Sometimes it’s so difficult to trust our inner knowing when we’re in emotional pain. As Max and I continued our conversation, I said I needed a sign to help me determine the right choice. Just then, I looked up and saw a beautiful man running toward us. He was strong, tanned, and had piercing blue eyes. When he passed us, Max and I looked at each other and smiled, acknowledging his beauty and powerful energy. We continued our walk and eventually headed for the car to return home. Arriving at the parking lot, we sat down to put on our shoes and, taking one more look out over the ocean, I once again saw the handsome man running back down the beach. As my eyes followed him, he suddenly stopped, bent over and quickly began scratching something in the sand with his finger. After a few moments, he finished and continued on his way. Max and I chuckled at our curiosity and immediately ran to see what he had written. When we arrived at the water’s edge we found the words “MENTAL TOUGHNESS” scrawled in the sand. While I stood looking at the words, I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up. I looked around but the young man was nowhere in sight. Instantly I felt a sense of relief and reassurance. I had my message: “hold still and stay strong.” Miracle stories like this one can serve to remind us all that we’re embraced by a loving presence, whether we realize it or not. When sitting at a spiritual crossroad, sometimes we just need to ask for a miracle to give us direction and a renewed sense of faith. Other times we can offer our faith to each other by sharing our own miracle stories. When I look back on that day at the beach, I know in my heart that the sign I received was not only meant for me, but for us all. |
Take Action Challenge If you’re faced with a challenge or tough life decision, ask for a miracle and then pay close attention to your life. Expect Divine support. Ask out loud for a clear and observable sign. Then wait with spiritual patience for the miracle to unfold. Here’s a fun Easter video that will make you smile. You can find it here. Thanks, Kelly! |
