As a pre-holiday gift, we’ve put all of the card decks – Grace Cards, Self Care Cards, and My Daily Affirmation Cards, along with Louise Hay’s 2012 Calendar and our new book, You Can Create an Exceptional Life, in our online store at a “2-for-1 price” for the holidays.
I did this because each of these items makes for a perfect gift. I give some of these to loved ones, along with the wonderful people who take good care of me throughout the year – my postman and woman; the delivery people who drop off packages; my hairstylist, and even my auto mechanic. Everyone loves the calendar, for example, and they look forward to it year after year.
I hope this makes your holiday shopping easier and more affordable. You can find them here:
This week’s newsletter is an important reminder from last year. If you celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope you have a beautiful holiday and, if not, may you be firmly connected to every little thing you feel grateful for in your life.
This week we celebrate Thanksgiving – the holiday of gratitude that invites us to connect with and appreciate the abundance in our lives. As I took a shower this morning, I thought about some of the things I feel grateful for – hot water, a window in my bathroom with a beautiful view, a cat that makes me smile every single day, and a husband who cares for me deeply.
As I continued to shower, I considered other things to feel thankful for – inner things that often get overlooked. I’m thankful for my commitment to personal growth, for example, the discipline that keeps me practicing good self-care, and the courage to make difficult choices in spite of the anxiety or guilt I might feel.
We all have inner qualities or ways of being that serve us (and others) and they deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated, too. So, this week, I invite you to take a few moments to do the exercise in the Take Action Challenge below. You’ll be so grateful you did #x1F600;.
Take Action Challenge
Stop and take out a piece of paper and pen and think about the ways in which you’ve changed and grown over this past year. How do you approach life differently – in a way that honors you and your relationships? What kind of commitment have you made to your own personal growth? What behaviors have you let go of and what new habits have you developed to keep your self-care in check?
Be grateful for these inner gifts – they are the fuel that will sustain you and carry you through your amazing life.
I never tire of these videos – souls touching souls. Thanks, Giuliana! You can find it here.
