Week 9 – Why you must be mindful of the words you choose.
Greetings!
Please remember to register for the Tapping World Summit that begins on Monday night (2/24) with a workshop by me and Iyanla Vanzant. I’ll be talking about how to use tapping to release patterns of guilt and shame and Iyanla will be talking about tapping and forgiveness. The next ten days are available to you without cost, so please be sure to give yourself this gift.
You can register here.
I’m live on the radio on Monday (2/24) at 5pm ET/2pm PT and I’ll be taking your calls at (866) 254-1579. You can listen at HayHouseRadio.com.
Have a great week!
Love,
Cheryl

Topic of the Week
Why you must be mindful of the
words you choose.
My friend Max gave me an awesome gift for Christmas this year that I’ve been using this afternoon. It’s a thermal laminator.
I know, pretty strange, right? Who gives a thermal laminator as a gift?
My wild and wonderful soul sister Max does.
One of the things I love most about Max is that she never, ever thinks inside the box. She’s just not wired that way. When Max gives a gift, it’s something she’s put a lot of thought into and it usually turns out to be an unexpected, welcomed surprise.
At Christmas, when I unwrapped the box and looked at her with a mix of confusion and curiosity, she said:
“Cheryl, you love words. You use them to paint your life. Now you can laminate your favorite ones and take them with you wherever you go.”
Well, I thought, that makes perfect sense #x1F600;.
So today, when I woke up to another gloomy, winter day, I pulled out my thermal laminator and had some fun.
First, I took an affirmation from Louise Hay’s calendar and laminated it so I could hang it from my travel bag when I head to Miraval for our retreat in Arizona next week.
Here’s my first lamination project of the day…

Next, I took a list of affirmations I’d created for 2014 and printed them out on several sheets of paper. Then I laminated each page so I could place them around the house.
Here’s one example – a simple, yet powerful affirmation I use to guide my work…

I had so much fun creating laminated signs with the words that matter most to me at this time in my life. I know these little gems are the first step in consciously creating my life.
Our words have enormous power.
Whether you believe it or not.
Over the years I’ve received enough evidence to know that my words are like an invitation to Life, a thoughtful request to bring energy into form.
So I choose them carefully.
And now I laminate them, too #x1F600;.

I don’t know where I’ve been hiding that I hadn’t seen this video yet, but I’m so glad I did. It will make you happy, especially if you watch all the way to the end. Check out the video here. Thanks, Yonka!
